Asian Journal of Urology included by ESCI

Good news! Asian Journal of Urology, hosted by Shanghai Association for Science & Technology (SAST) and The Second Military Medical University (SMMU), has been included by Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), after Thomson Reuters’ evaluation, being traced back to second issue (January, 2015).

ESCI accessed via Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science? Core Collection, provide researchers, administrators, faculty, and students with quick and powerful access to the bibliographic and citation information they need over the world. Only a few high-level comprehensive journals, either worldwide or within China, can be indexed by ESCI.

The international editorial board consists of 83 scholars from 23 countries and regions, such as US, Canada, UK, Germany, Finland, Japan, China, etc. These board members take great efforts in reviewing and writing articles for the journal as well as introducing it to their peers in international conferences.

Produced and hosting by Elsevier, the worldwide largest academic publisher, Asian Journal of Urology is online published in Elsevier’s full-text scientific database ScienceDirect, with each article assigned a unique DOI. By adopting the Open Access mode, fulltexts of all articles in the journal could be accessed free of charge globally.

The indexing of Asian Journal of Urology by ESCI is a milestone in the development of China’s and Asian Urology. It bridges the gap between the Urology of China and the world and offers a significant platform for the mutual communication of Chinese and Asian scholars with peers around the world.
